Rooms did not have hair dryers. Even on requesting we did not get these. They also did not have robes and slippers in the rooms as most other doubletree hotels do. Food needs better labelling for allergens /cross contamination in case of allergies. Luckily we were good at avoiding items that had been cross contaminated and made calculated choices of ‘safe’ food

Friendly staff and great selection of food

We traveled as a group of 8. Do not get your transport through your hotel, way way overpriced for a 15 minute drive. The hotel accommodated our rooms accordingly which was great. The buffet isn't the best. Hours for dining and drinking are limited, you cant just sit around and order a drink. The rooms are quite nice as this was The Hyatt once, but the property really needs some updating and better upkeep. The personal is great as it is pretty much everywhere you go in Sharm, people are truly very warm, welcoming, charming and very helpful. The General Manager as well as the day and night time Front Desk Managers were truly the best. We will probably go back remembering how they made some things easier for us. Thanks so much!! I have to also say that their beach is very underrated as it is WONDERFUL! Take everything into account and still consider going to the Park Regency! We certainly made the best of memories there!

What I liked: I really enjoyed the location and the renovation of the property—it felt modern and comfortable. The staff were amazing, especially Artem and Mohamed at reception, who were very understanding and helpful. Mousa from room service was also excellent and very courteous. What I didn’t like: The airport car service was not punctual, so I had to follow up. One receptionist was rude and gave me attitude when I asked about the car. Unfortunately, I did not remember his name; I only saw him once in the morning—he looked young and wore glasses. To avoid issues, I suggest allowing some buffer time when arranging transportation. Also, the El Kababgy restaurant didn’t meet expectations—the meat felt greasy and had an unpleasant smell, making it not worth the price. A better option is to try the hotel buffet for lunch or dinner instead. Overall: Great location and staff, with some service inconsistencies and restaurant quality issues—but I would definitely stay here again.
