Tambua is an amazing Adult Only resort, it is quiet and the grounds and rooms are immaculate. Food is well priced and good quality. The staff are absolutely amazing especially Toui and Jim.

Amazing place to experience “island vibes”. Great people, excellent location. Snorkelling, kayaking, sunsets, pool, bar, beach - all great! Some construction going on as of May 2026 until about Nov 2026. Might want to check with staff to try to stay further away. Food is fairly basic, but good and sufficient. Excellent stay for a few nights, highly recommend!

Very efficient and friendly staff plus great food

We had an excellent time at Tropica! We stayed in a Beach Bure and it was absolutely wonderful. Right on the beach and separated by jungle from the other Beach Bures, it felt like we had our own slice of heaven. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. The food at Tropica was excellent. Breakfast was included and absolutely wonderful. Ask for the blended iced coffee! So yummy. We also enjoyed trying their amazing list of cocktails. Dinner was really special. One night my husband got a 1.2 kg lobster that he states is the best lobster he has ever had! It was beautifully presented. One of the team also plays the guitar and sings some nights and it’s very special. The property has just been going through some recent upgrades and while they have a few more things to do, they have already done a lot which we benefited from. There is a bit of construction but it didn’t have an impact on our experience. By far the staff are what make this a truly special place. They very quickly learned our names and what we liked. They go well out of their way to make sure you are happy and taken care of. By the end they felt like family. This was our first experience with Fiji and we would go back in a heart beat! Thank you to Tropica for making our first time to Fiji so special.

Awesome and secluded location, very welcoming and friendly staff, the cruises offered were very good. We had a great time as non scuba divers by way of swimming and snorkeling etc. Great menu and the Thursday night performance and local food was a nice touch. If you are mobility impaired not the ideal location as very steep access to majority of rooms. Staff did provide golfcart buggy transport on request. Beds weren’t comfortable.

The historical aspects of the establishment were appreciated, and the check-in process was highly efficient. The outdoor pool facility was exceptional, and the room maintained a high standard of cleanliness. While breakfast was satisfactory, the room service meal arrived at an undesirable temperature. The staff demonstrated remarkable professionalism, consistently exhibiting helpfulness and an accommodating demeanor. Strategically located in the center of Suva, this hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the vibrant urban environment of Fiji.

Excellent place to stay however room was quite far from the amenities and bula bus can take a while .recommend for kids free stay only

Amazing pool specially for kids and the food was really good. There is nothing negative about the hotel at all. It’s our second time staying at the hotel and we will be back again soon :)
