Overall our stay was great and the location is very convenient for getting anywhere downtown! The waterfront is less than 5 min walk. The staff were helpful and kind. The pool was great, but seemed the pool area was under construction (July 2026) but not blocked off or anything so seemed a bit messy / debris around. Also there were housekeeping carts seemingly parked in the hotel hallway at all times day and night like just outside the room; I think in 3 nights there was only one time we didn’t see it on our way in or out. It was not an issue but was just a bit unusual to us! Parking was an additional 30 per night.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Muir. The hotel pays attention to the little details, the rooms are beautiful, and even though it’s right on the waterfront it was surprisingly quiet. It never felt crowded, which I appreciated.
We did have a fire alarm around midnight and everyone had to evacuate to the boardwalk. It turned out to be a false alarm, but the staff handled it well and even took my room service off the bill as an apology. Nice gesture that they didn’t have to make.
I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and still smells new! Staff were very friendly- loved the pool n hot tub! Close to Outlet shopping and a short drive to downtown Dartmouth as well!
