I love this modern apartment in the city center. Norway rentals are a little off. No guest book of instructions. No WiFi name or correct password. Cook top fuse broken. I couldn't control the heating!! Otherwise it was perfect, a roof top terrace.

While the room was clean, the bed was rather hard, so we did not always sleep well. We had an irregularly-shaped room, so my husband could not get out of bed at night without shimmying down the bed and waking me up. Otherwise, it was a beautiful property with a huge fireplace in the lobby. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The high-end restaurant attached to it was incredible. We had one of the best meals of our entire 3.5 week vacation there. The less formal dining room was not as good for dinner. The klippfiske dish had an odd combination of olives and andouille sausage in it. Location was superb—very close to the Jugendstil Museum, the Fishing Museum, and an antique store.

Conveniently located, comfortable room, decent breakfast and on-site parking garage. A good choice in Alesund!

Clean room, quiet hotel all to ourselves, easy check in, laundry was a plus, beautiful location. Location can be difficult if you want food or grocery since everything was closed, but there are options in nearby towns (10-15 minutes). Great stay if you’re looking for a bed and quiet, clean location.
