Since the new management team has taken over its night and day. They are so friendly and helpful and they will actually make a latte in the morning.

The front desk had a miscommunication as to how to get to the hotel around a closed road crash which cost us 1.5 hours of driving and not being able to get there. We asked for a partial refund and they were unhelpful. It ultimately was a misunderstanding of which direction we were coming from and which road block we were needing to get around I found dealing with them after the fact very not compassionate even if they couldn’t offer a refund, making it feel entirely like my fault for not being willing to drive 2.5 more hours on the 154 mile detour that was there saying I was the only guest not to make it. A great way to make someone want to return! Make them feel bad about it.

Lovely location, friendly staff. A tad dated but still very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Fantastic stay. The staff was warm and welcoming and even upgraded room.The restaurant and their breakfast were great and right next to Royal Dornoch golf course. Perfect 😊

Lovely property, easy to find and beautiful views. The owner was always available when needed th3 place was perfect for kids to run around and swim depending on the weather.

Everything was exceptional. The hospitality from Graham and Sheena was second to none. We got lost our first night out and after a quick call, Graham got us back on track and was actually on his way out to find us when we turned up the drive! That is the level of hospitality provided. Breakfast was delectable! Fresh, buttery croissants, creamy eggs, tasty haggis, sweet fried tomatoes and the tenderest bacon! The beds were so comfortable and the pillows so fluffy!!! The Walker shortbread in the room just cinches the entire package!!! Blervie House is the go too destination during your stay in Scotland!!! Truly wonderful place and amazing hosts. 🥰😍❤️

Nice clean hotel, and well maintained grounds, but a bit unimaginative with breakfast options. Not much beyond the fry-up options. Being an old building it was also a bit noisy with squeaky floorboards and creaky stairs.

Very spacious nice 2 bedroom in a great location. They even thought about parking which was included and walking distance at the local mall. Only warning is no elevator (unless we missed it the entire time) which could prove challenging for some people. We were ok but 2 large 50lbs suitcases for the family up and down were not expected and may not be for everyone.

The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.

The Ambassador Hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! The hotel is in a lovely locations, the rooms are all unique and have lovely views, comfortable beds, and luxury bedding. The restaurant is top notch!!!
