Nice hotel, great location.
Went for a coffee in the restaurant while we waited for a train.
Asked to be sat outside as it was a warm day - put us right next to a raging fire - on a 30 degree day?!
Sat back inside and staff seemed bemused that we had moved tables (despite us telling one of them prior to moving).
£13 for a coffee and lemonade. It is what it is.

The pool on the roof deck was the main reason for booking this hotel. It turns out it is not run by Virgin but a separate company. The pool itself had black mold floating around. It hadn’t been cleaned for some time. Complaining to the front desk resulted in a “not our problem” response.
