Skidaway Island Scuba Diving Holidays

We stayed October 8-11, 2026. When we checked into our hotel room on the top floor, there was a sewage smell. We didn't know where it was coming from, but it eventually dissipated. That night, the smell returned. We called the front desk, and they said that someone would be up to deodorize the room. No one ever came. The smell appeared and disappeared during our entire stay. The water in the shower didn't get very hot. We turned the faucet all the way to "H" and it was only very warm. However, the water pressure was nice. The tile flooring between the bathroom and main room door had cracks and holes in it. As for the rest of the hotel, it was nice. You can tell it's old due to the very low ceilings and the parking garage. When the rain from Hurricane Isaias came through, there were some roof leaks on the main floor. The restaurants were nice, and the food was good. We appreciated the free shuttle service to the nearby shopping and the nice walk to the small general store near the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It's too soon to say if we'd return.
