Hadeln Scuba Diving Holidays

Our room lock didn’t work so every time we had to go to our room we had to ask staff to go upstairs with us to unlock the door. There was only one single chair for a room that sleeps 4. No table. The bathroom has absolutely no where to put your stuff. Shower door couldn’t close properly so large crack would get the floor all wet. No shelf or niche in the shower to put anything you might have. Lots of dust under the beds. Breakfast had 2 hot items. Scrambled eggs, or sausages. At least it had AC during the heat wave.

I was really impressed when I walked into my room, very spacious and with a seating area separate from the bedroom. My room facing 55th Street, extremely quite through the night but there were loud men outside my windows picking up the garbage or some kind of work, laughing out loud, obnoxious jokes. Then early in the morning around 8am whoever were the guests across from my room. A family with children decided to improvise the hallway as their own playground and the parents did nothing to stop them running back n forth, yelling as if they owned the hotel!! After that family moment in front of my door, I could not go back to sleep. Next time I book with Shoreham I wanna make sure that no children are anywhere near my room. This was the one negative about my stay at this hotel, everything else was outstanding. I will return to stay with them again, my new favorite hotel.

Clean but noisy

Terrific location esp for hopping on the subway to get around. Was a really nice walk later at night after a loud evening with friends. Would def stay again.

Dear Ms. Valentin, I’d like to formally, in writing express my gratitude and sincere appreciation for the courteous and elegant treatment that my love Rakela and I received this past weekend at your two hotels. A water pipe breaking and shutting down your hotel on a World Cup Internationally fully booked weekend is as bad as it gets in hospitality. In spite of this challenging moment I’d like to thank five of your employees that I dealt with in no certain order. Solange- front desk receptionist moved us quickly in the system and stayed present, caring, classy, professional and attentive - she moved us and without us asking helped us with some of the finances of the room due to missing a birthday celebration. She also followed up with a call the next day to check on us. A tall thin Caribbean Man / very handsome slightly graying bell man who alerted us to the challenges and pre warned us to to start packing and move quickly given the gravity of the situation. Very serious and great demeanor in handling the movement of belongings. Sophia- the Sunday front desk executive who graciously obliged us with a late checkout situation - even though the mounting challenges of the prior days seemed to only cascade and continue to be challenging. She never flinched or hesitated even while the guests close by were expressing their displeasure with that situation. Neisha Valentin- an outstanding leader of her team in the face of massive adversity. She made it all happen for us and

Had another wonderful stay at the Rivington Hotel! I was welcomed by Dery and checked in with ease. He advised me that the bar was closed and that there would be complimentary wine served from 5-7 that evening which was very nice. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Great location too!
