Tired facilities in need of restoration investment. Drive up area to lobby has a collapsed roof - no longer in use but no repair work in sight.
Beach side villas very nice and ours was well maintained.
Staff are very nice and helpful but not enough are trained for 5 star service - e.g poolside staff don’t bother walking around to take orders, despite that being their job, you have to go to the bar to order.
Good location and Karon is pretty family friendly.
One of our group got food poisoning from eating at the hotel restaurant, Mint. Need to be vigilant in Thailand in general re food hygiene.

MAJOR renovations underway which means most restaurants CLOSED and reduced menu options. This was disappointing we only enjoyed the pizza and the BBQ. The rest of the meals not great. Also less activities on offer. We loved the beach the pool and the 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely view. Might return once renovations are complete. Staff lovely - nice cocktails,
