The hotel was “fine” Things that bothered us - there’s no counter space in the bathroom - there’s tables but other hotel toiletries are on them already leaving little room for your stuff. The sink faucet pressure was sad - you needed to fill a glass of water up in order to brush your teeth. The shower has no hot water governor on the shower faucet so be careful not to scald yourself. We are guessing this building used to be a motel rather than a hotel so there are spots in the hall that are still exposed outside letting cold air in leaving the halls freezing at times. The front counter staff have little information about establishments in the area and when they did give info it was wrong. The hotel website states a full service dining experience- it’s only breakfast. The breakfast was blah in taste and you are herded in like cattle and the line is out the door to get in even at 6:30 a.m! Probably because it’s free! The staff in the grab and go are so rude it’s almost comical. Honestly the nicest people were the housekeepers- very nice and friendly.

It’s half the price of everything else in Beverly Hills for a reason. Room is arguably clean, but not modern or renovated at all. I got bed bug bites or hives from the dust mites. Could t reach air filter to check. Zero amenities. One staff member that you’ve seen everyone comment about is clearly a problem. Not sure why she’s still there lol. If you’re alone and desperate — go. Otherwise, cough up a bit more and you’ll be much happier.

Not sure how true that is. But it was unusually humid and sticky in the room. I did not get a good nights rest for the three nights I was there. The property itself is a little outdated, but that I’m sure leads to the charm. I do feel like pictures online should reflect the true character of the hotel. I don’t believe there was enough picture. Had I seen more, I probably would not have chosen this hotel. Smelled a little old as well. I’m sure someone else would love it, but it was not for me.

The hotel was clean, well maintained, room was up to date. Cafe was attached to hotel. Valet was prompt. Great customer service.

This property is older probably built in the 70’s but it’s well maintained and the staff is great.

A fantastic return for a San Francisco icon We recently stayed for three nights at the newly reopened Huntington Hotel on Nob Hill, and we’re delighted to say it has been well worth the wait. The rooms are beautifully appointed, combining comfort with understated luxury, and the gym is one of the best hotel fitness facilities we’ve used. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, with exceptional service throughout our stay. A special thank you to the Head Concierge and the reception team, who were friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is superb. Perched on Nob Hill, it’s perfectly placed for exploring San Francisco while providing a peaceful retreat away from the busier tourist areas. Our only disappointment was breakfast for children in the on-site restaurant. The options felt quite limited, with no cereal available and the menu generally not appearing to have been designed with younger guests in mind. It’s a small point, but one that could make a big difference for families. That aside, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It’s wonderful to see this Nob Hill institution back where it belongs, and we wish the entire team every success. In our opinion, this is now the best hotel in San Francisco, and we look forward to returning.
