I wanted to spend three nights in this spa Hotel, but unfortunately, I was ill the day I was scheduled to travel to the hotel, so ended up spending only two nights. I was met at the hotel by a very friendly and helpful receptionist, who had arranged an upgraded room, given that I was unable to arrive the first evening. This was very appreciated, even if not necessary - I would have been content in the room I'd booked. Unfortunately, I was only able to spend one evening enjoying the extensive spa facilities and pool area offered by the hotel due to a set of circumstances, but I would love to come back when I can spend more time. The small town of Grossarl was very pleasant, with a variety of restaurants and shops. I would imagine it to be quite nice in the winter months as well.

Great hotel. We stayed in Fuschl to easily access the Salzkammergut area. The hotel has great amenities such as an arcade. It even has a piano you could play. Staff was friendly and helpful. Note Fuschl does not really have a lot of restaurants and the convenient store barely opens - so it simply wasn't a base for lunch/dinner for us. The hotel has dinner but we did not try. Also note there is no A/C. The night air was cool but we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Parking was confusing initially - there is a parking garage but it is not accessible on the day of arrival. We had to back out through a narrow alley.

On arrival it was hard to find anyone at reception, and when a staff member finally appeared, checking in was bit meehh. When I asked about street parking, she kept repeating that the hotel parking costs €20 per night — even though there were no spaces — and it took a lot of effort to get the simple information that street parking is free until 7 a.m. Despite being local, she kept saying she didn’t know and “I just work here,” which was pretty unhelpful. The room is quite spacious, but the cleanliness is a bit questionable.

Hotel was a lovely family run hotel. We had a family room which consisted of two adjoining bedrooms with one bathroom of the main bedroom. There was a balcony that looked towards the mountains that we enjoyed sitting on in the evening to watch the sun set. Room was comfortable and clean. I hadn’t realised when booking that in the summer months the restaurant isn’t open in the evenings. Whilst there are lots of lovely eateries in Zell Am See for us this was an inconvenience simply that we were tired after being very active all day and would have preferred not to have to walk back into town and then back up the hill to the hotel. However breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Everyone was very helpful and gave us great service. We have had a very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely beautiful place! Quiet , with outstanding view over Salzburg Amazing breakfast , amazing restaurant The Glass house ! You can use elevator down to the city which is in 5 min walk or walk along well maintained and lightened paths to all touristic attractions Everything about this place is great !! I highly recommended that place , Expetually , who likes scenery walks

Everything wonderful. Needs redtsurant if ski in ski out.

We had an amazing stay at the Ferienhotel Knollhof and wouldnt hesitate to stay again or recommend it! Lovely clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff and the location is fantastic with a breathtaking view of the mountains!! Thank you for a wondeful experience in beautiful Schladming!

This hotel was just disgusting. I found black hairs all over my bed and pillow. The shower had mold. The worst part was the bathroom around the toilet constantly smelled like urine. Even tho we flushed all the time. It was like they cleaned the bathroom with urine. Both of our rooms smelled like this. Couldn’t use the outdoor balcony because it was infested with bees. This place just was awful and i hope you choose not to stay here

This was by far the most personalized stay we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were personally shown to the room and all amenities were explained. The amazing staff thought of every detail. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg!
