Great Abaco Island Scuba Diving Holidays

I wish they would bring back the amazing breakfast buffet they used to have, and it was very affordable.

Only issue is the bedding needs to be replaced.

It was a pleasurable stay. The staff were accommodating and helpful navigating the island.

The property is certainly well located and is one of the three best located resorts on Harbor Island. However, the Pink Sands is tired and needs attention to deferred maintenance along with some wholesale capital improvements. The employees were helpful and attentive but they could use some training as to decorum and attention to details. Overall, the experience there was a disappointment because we were paying such a high price and frustrated by endless issues. Willing but shoddy service. Bad food. Beach covered with seaweed while the adjacent resorts removed seaweed. I could go on but you get the picture. We could have gone to the Coral Sands or the Dunmore and paid a little more and had a much more fulfilling experience. Clearly, the ownership of the Pink Sands needs to "bite the bullet" and make a wholesale commitment ($$$) to a better overall customer experience or it will fade off into oblivion.

This place was amazing!! From the restaurants to the poolside bars which I was able to watch the World Cup! The pool is huge! The views are priceless! And the rooms are really nice.

Horrible stay at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. Prices are outrageous, service was awful, and I had to dispute incorrect charges. Stay away!

The staff was either great or terrible. Some of the staff were the nicest, kindest, and happiest people I've ever meet, but there were other who were awful and treated my daughter and her friends really bad. We were told by one of the bartenders that she wasn't paid enough to charge us correctly when she over charged my daughter for a drink and when brought to her attention she refused and asked if we wanted her to get her manager. There was also a scary moment when the alarm in our room went off and said "staff is investigating your area". There was pipe bust on the 7th floor that flooded everything including the elevators. That wasn't too bad once we figured out what was going on, just seemed on brand for Atlantis.... felt like we were sinking or something. The ground are beautiful, but finding things was difficult. Most things were not marked on signs of how to get places, and they don't give out maps. Guest should check their bills when checking out. They tried to charge us for 2 days of having more than 4 devices connected to the internet. We had to adjoining rooms with a total of 7 people so that was an error, unless they counted how they didn't have one of our rooms ready at check in, and so we all had to have all of our stuff in one room and wait there for the other room to be ready a couple hours later. They said they would remove the charge, and even printed out the corrected bill showing the removal of the fees, but they still charged my credit card.
