9.2/10 Wonderful! (380 reviews)
Very good hotel. But be warned that the surrounding community is very noisy: dogs barking most of the time (stray dogs are an issue), roosters crowing, and vehicles beeping their horns as a warning to other drivers/pedestrians on the winding roads and blind curves around the hotel.

Highly recommend! We loved everything about The Liming! The staff were amazing and so supportive. Our room was fabulous and so enjoyed having our own private pool and sitting area. Everything was first class!

The check-in experience is wonderfully laid-back. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary cold beverage and invited to settle in at the open-air lounge while signing in at an unhurried pace. The staff is attentive and happy to assist with luggage. There are several sets of stone paver steps throughout the property, so it’s worth noting for travelers who may have difficulty with stairs.
The lodging rooms are beautifully nestled into the hillside, with stone exteriors draped in vines and private terraces overlooking the estate, the valley, and the sea beyond. Palm-fringed beaches stretch below, completing the view. The rooms are spacious, offering both air conditioning and open-air elements, and carry an authentic West Indian charm.
Dining on-site is a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Some room rates include breakfast, so it’s a good idea to confirm whether it’s included or à la carte when booking.
The pool sits below in a secluded, oasis-like setting. It’s expansive—perfect for swimming laps or simply unwinding in a peaceful atmosphere.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (43 reviews)
Overall, this is a beautiful resort with some highs and a few frustrating downsides. I’d rate it an 8/10.
The property itself is stunning, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The food was honestly a standout—10/10 across the board. The complimentary water sports during the day were also a great perk, and there was rarely much of a wait for those.
That said, the room could have been cleaner, and the mini fridge isn’t restocked unless you specifically ask, which felt like something that should be automatic. Service overall was mixed—some staff were excellent, but others weren’t very friendly and didn’t seem too welcoming.
One big thing: I would not recommend getting a butler. It really didn’t add much value and was actually a bit inconvenient at times. The only real benefit was helping secure beach or pool chairs, which are otherwise very hard to get. If you skip the butler, I’d suggest renting a cabana instead—the service there was better anyway.
The boat transfer to the hotel was nice and scenic, but not necessarily faster than taking a cab, especially since there was still a wait.
Be prepared for “island time”—service can be slow, whether it’s waiting for food at restaurants or getting assistance from staff. Also, the crowd tends to be older (50s–60s), and things quiet down pretty early, so don’t expect much nightlife after 11pm.
The weather was a mix of sun and quick rain showers, but it didn’t take away from the experience since it usually cleared up fast.
