Crater Range Romantic Holidays

The room had a damp foul odor upon entering like wet carpet was enclosed for a while. I tried to overlook it but then I saw a large cockroach crawling up the wall in the room while getting ready for bed. The property was prompt to send staff at 9 pm to spray the room but that wasn’t safe or smart response seeing that it would mean me sleeping in the ‘odorless’ fumes. It was also surprisingly not quiet either but that related to the neighbors which couldn’t be helped. Every chair drag, toilet usage or early shower could be heard. Too many aggravations. Maybe it was once great but now it’s dated. I checked out early and told the front desk who refunded the remainder of my stay, without argument, but there were no apologies or incentives. She was just in a rush to check me out. I loved that there was a full kitchen and laundry, easy parking, check in was easy and friendly etc but the room was well below my standards. Later I received a call asking if I’d like to sign up as a travel member. They definitely didn’t communicate as my response was “absolutely not”.

This was a great place to stay if you need a longer length of time. They have a washer and dryer and fully functional kitchen. The only downside side was the parking because it’s a bit of a walk with lots of luggage and there was no soap or shampoo in the large bottles in the shower. They were extremely accommodating with extending our stay by 2 additional days at the last minute.
