Central Maryland Pet-friendly Holidays

The location of this property is 5 star excellent. The room was clean, and the accommodations were fine. I encountered two issues. I asked for someone to check the shower as the water temperature was unmanageable ( it was either hot, or cold - there was no in between). NO ONE SHOWED UP TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE. When I checked out the attendent mentioned that the front desk person I had spoken to had entered the request "under the wrong code" such that the appropriate department was not made aware of the issue. My second issue was that the room had a mildewy smell to it that was a little off putting.

Difficult to find on Apple Maps, no smart tv had to buy a fire stick but staff was friendly helpful and fast. Good drinks, breakfast 3.5/5. Would return just bring firestick.

The River Inn has become my go-to hotel in DC. Very good location and wonderful staff.

Overall it was fine, the staff specifically was very helpful and pleasant! My only issue was the water pressure for my room on the 7th floor was particularly bad, and the shower was even worse. Also, the AC units in the room are quite odd and don’t actually cool to the temperature you set them too. Otherwise it’s a great location.
