Crater Range Pet-friendly Holidays

This was a great place to stay if you need a longer length of time. They have a washer and dryer and fully functional kitchen. The only downside side was the parking because it’s a bit of a walk with lots of luggage and there was no soap or shampoo in the large bottles in the shower. They were extremely accommodating with extending our stay by 2 additional days at the last minute.

Overall, the hotel itself was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and most of our stay was pleasant. Unfortunately, the last two days of our stay were extremely stressful due to an issue with roaches. My fiancée and I stayed from Sunday through Wednesday. Everything was going well until Tuesday evening, around 10:00 p.m., when we discovered a large roach on our bed. We immediately went to the front desk, and the staff was very helpful in locating and disposing of it. They moved us to another room and informed us that breakfast would be complimentary. Because it was late, we checked our luggage and belongings thoroughly for any additional roaches before agreeing to move to the new room around 10:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the following morning, on the day we were scheduled to check out, we discovered another roach in the new room. We notified the front desk again, and they offered us a discount on our stay, which we appreciated. However, instead of being able to enjoy a relaxing final couple of days, we were extremely stressed and concerned about the possibility of bringing roaches home with us. I want to emphasize that the hotel itself is beautiful and has many great amenities, and the staff was courteous and responsive throughout the situation. However, encountering roaches in two separate rooms was very unsettling and significantly impacted our overall experience. Ultimately, the stress and concern associated with this issue outweighed the positive aspects of our stay.

I visited for a mommy staycation and all the staff were amazing. The pools, the cafe, the architecture… it was all amazing! It is definitely more of a rustic/old money vibe so if that is your style then you will love it!
