Overall stay at Bluebeards Castle was great! We had great views of the yacht harbor and mountains. We stayed in a studio suite and had our own kitchenette with fridge, microwave and stove top. Room had good AC plus fans. Resort was limited on dining options; one breakfast spot that didn’t open until 9am and one dinner restaurant. We dined at Castle grill several times and enjoyed the food especially the jerk shrimp tacos. One downside was that it was about 10 minutes away from town and high in a hill so walking wasn’t the easiest. The staff was great and always friendly.

We had a hard time locating the property, which was likely due to another car blocking the sign. The management was super helpful and once we found it, all was good! The property had everything we needed and we will definitely book here again!

What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family.

Welcoming historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful for any in room needs and knowledgeable for recommendations in town for restaurants and shopping. The restaurant was delicious (the restaurant staff was friendly, personable and amazing), we were visited by the head chef/mastermind, mixologist and manager while dining and all interactions were fantastic. Our room had an amazing view of the harbor, the pool was great to relax and decompress in, the room was comfortable (didn't realize there was no tv or microwave when booking, this only upheld the historic atmosphere and allowed us to disconnect with the outside world and reconnect with the present). My only "cons" would be the number of stairs, but that is part of the charm and historic value this amazing hotel brings. I loved our stay on the island, and I loved our experience at Hotel 1829. I only wish we had more time to explore.

Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.
