Comfy hotel, No shops nearby

The staff are amazing and the cleaning staff do a super human job. They are let down by poor maintenance and lazy reactions to complaints and about maintenance issues. What a pity! The hotel is in need of major refurbishment, however they seem to be getting their revenue as an event location (parties and weddings etc) this makes for loud noise for guests and along with noisy aircon, leaking taps, etc it seems the service from their lowest paid staff carry the hotel forward.. how sad

Property is beautiful, just a small tad dated but lovely nonetheless. That’s the reason for the 4 stars. The buffet breakfast is phenomenal, the restaurants onsite are fantastic. All of the food was great! The amenities were amazing! Hands down a magnificent resort on the west side of Panama. One slight warning, the traffic to the hotel is ridiculous, most times of day. If you are planning on staying out, you are fine, but if planning to go back and forth to Panama City, be forewarned. Could take three times the time due to the traffic to cross the bridge.
