Fabulous location! Knowledgeable and helpful staff and lovely rooms. The availability of parking right next to the hotel was a plus. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel with large family room. Great location and view of the river. Very friendly staff. East parking in car park located on the property. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, King John’s Castle and the tour busses.

Super helpful front desk staff. A wonderful bed with nice linens. And the breakfast included was fresh, Cooked to order and so tasty. . Loved everything about No 1 Pery Square. Wish I had two nights in that lovely room.

The Galmont has a good location and some nice design features to the hotel, including a very nice outdoor terrace area that overlooks the water. What the Galmont is lacking it is a proper level of service with their wait staff. On two separate occasions, we waited to be seated, and then to even get a menu for an excessive period of time when there were very few customers in the restaurant. Meanwhile, we could see wait staff standing about and chatting with each other. The same lack of attention to detail issues came into play in our room. We were staying there for two nights and on the first day that we came back to the hotel from being out for the day, we had no toilet paper. Also on that same day, the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. There was an automatic touchscreen for a light on the mirror that I had pushed the button on, and then you could see where the fingerprints were with toothpaste on them. My son and I had been in Ireland for two weeks and we wished we had skipped this stop. On the second day that we stayed there several large tour buses pulled up, dropping a large number of people off for a convention that basically overtook the hotel. Everything was loud and crowded. This hotel was a big disappointment in every respect, respect, find somewhere else to stay in Galway.

A sleek, central hotel with clean rooms and top-notch service—ideal for a comfy city break. Just note the occasional air-con quirks, but you’ll be fine with open windows or a quick fix from staff.

Remote location but well worth the trip. Lovely golf too

Very convenient to University of Limerick’s campus. Front desk staff was extremely helpful.
