Handa Island Mountain Holidays

Such a lovely place, what a location. We first went in late 2020 and had a wonderful suite, this time we were in a standard room. We had a loch view which was lovely as we were celebrating two birthdays! The staff are so friendly, thank you all. There is a newer more modern part and the older historic building - we’ve been in the older bit both times. As the building is older, you can’t expect it to be clinical like a new build! There might be some dust in nooks and crannies but we have and will return. We ate in the restaurant, cullen skink / chicken tikka starters and Scottish stew / shish tawook main. We both enjoyed and would have again.

Very disappointing stay. Check in is very late (4pm) . Room was not Classic Double as booked. We got a dark prisonlike cell with no view of outside world . Heating didn't work ( but was fixed - thx ) WIFI didn't work . It was separate to main building. Breakfast also disappointing Staff very nice & helpful

The hotel manager was 10/10. Wonderful stay!

We had no Internet connection while there. The parking situation is a bit ridiculous. And I was charged twice for my room!! I haven’t been refunded yet!

The accommodations were very clean. Property was lovely. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Ideal location. Paul was very personable and helpful
