Point Pleasant - Toms River Mountain Holidays

I had a great stay at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth, friendly, and fast, making for a welcoming start to my visit. The staff was helpful throughout my stay and always pleasant to interact with. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel's midtown location was excellent, centrally located and convenient to everything I wanted to see and do. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service.

The entire room and bathroom is small so it's a good option if you don't expect to stay in the hotel for long. The room has dings on the wall and the bathroom shower floor had stains that don't seem to get out. There were some areas that seem like they normally aren't cleaned. The breakfast was good with a decent variety of food. It does get pretty packed. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the subways and close enough to Times Square/ Broadway shows that there are always people walking around late at night. It's a good location if you want to be near Times Square and the surrounding areas and you won't expect to be in the hotel room for long.

Beautiful room with panoramic beach views. Loved the pool deck and easy access to the hotel from the boardwalk. Quiet, peaceful stay. Will definitely return.

The attractively priced suites are all interior facing on dimly lit lower floors. Don't expect to be upgraded for sunlight and a view without paying double. Also, room rates with 'breakfast included' have a restaurant credit, not a hotel credit. Ordering from the in-room breakfast menu simply to take advantage of my 'perk' resulted in hundreds of dollars in disputable charges. My membership in Taj's loyalty program resulted in zero benefits, which is a bit surprising as the company only operates two properties in North America.

- Air conditioner in our room was not working. It worked on and off eventually. - Only received turn down service one night. - Door security inside the hotel was rude and wouldn’t let my wife in one afternoon and physically moved to block her…not good. - Trash in our hallway every day - Overall, it needs better management that cares

The rooms were quiet and clean every day. Front desk staff in the evening is very friendly and attentive. Not the typical breakfast from most hotels but it was good options of breakfast. Hot coffee, water and tea all day in the lobby is a plus! We had an issue with our safe at first due to batteries but the staff quickly resolved the issue. We felt safe in the area and had a subway stop very very close. We would def stay here again!
