This is not a 4 star hotel. Hotels.com are wrong. This is a 2 star hotel.
I have stayed in better 2 star hotels but the location is great, it is safe, clean and staff are helpful. What it really needs is investment as it is tired. Broken window blinds and shower tiles need fixing. Given the outside noise some proper double glazing or triple glazing would help given the various work outside through the night.
Also do not believe the concierge’s ideas on how long it takes to get to the airport (google shows the facts) or that the LIRR service is broken every Friday so you must use the hotel car. 🙄 💵💵

1hotel is in a league of its own when it comes to service. The culture of the staff is to be so helpful, I can remember names like Junior & Max and several others that went out of their way to try and be helpful even when it wasn’t their job.
I would go back without hesitation. Excellent team. Thank you!!

Had a delightful stay at the Arthouse during a recent trip to the City. Steps from Central Park and the Beacon Theatre in the UWS this is a great place to call home for a few days away from the noise of Midtown or the pomp of Downtown. Excellent bang for the buck with clean rooms, an expansive business center and a conveniently located cafe/restaurant in the lobby. Arthouse is quite the gem!
