My stay at The Ellie’s Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach was overall decent, but it fell short of expectations in several key areas. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the overall resort experience didn’t live up to what you’d expect from a place marketing itself as a resort.
The most disappointing part was the breakfast service — it started off okay for couple of days but quickly turned into a poor experience due to bad customer service. The staff seemed disorganized, unhelpful, plain rude which really turned the stay to a very poor experience.
Additionally, the fees charged for our two rooms were inconsistent, which was confusing and frustrating. Between that and the underwhelming service, I wouldn’t recommend The Ellie’s Beach Resort to anyone looking for a true resort-like experience in Myrtle Beach.

I am hooked! This hotel is top notch in almost every way. The staff is exceptional. Jennifer in reception check-in went above and beyond my expectations. Nyzier kept the pools and hot tubs in tip top shape for everyone. And room service? Let me tell you, Tatyana is amazing. The chef at waterscapes is unbelievable with asparagus! Outstanding on every front. The almost is because I don't want to overdo it lol. Seriously, this is mine and my family's new go to fun relaxing peaceful place to be. It truly is where you can relax and enjoy family and alone time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Come see Jennifer (Jenn) and Chris at the registration desk and tell them Sunny sent you.

Friendly people, easy check in, snack room helped us this trip. Construction on side by the pool and closed off pet area was disappointing. But I love that it overlooks the golf course on one side and can see the ocean on the other side.

It is not a luxury property, but you’re not paying luxury prices. Good value for the money. Its location is ideal for anyone who is doing business with the hospital.
