The location is undoubtedly in the middle of things, which is great but limiting on that there's no way you could sleep with the window open due to the noise, either later on or 7am tunes blaring whilst breakfast set up is going on (music stopped by 8 when breakfast started). On the plus side the double glazing is amazingly effective and cuts all this out, the downside then being you will swelter in the heat of the room with the totally pathetic air con. This can be set to 20 but no lower and the strength of the fan is rubbish. Terrible night's sleep. The room and hotel were nicely decorated. The people on reception when we checked in and out could have been friendlier.

While the hotel is so old, they work hard to preserve it and make it gorgeous! Very clean and well tended to, this hotel lends a grand atmosphere for guests arriving.

Spa working hours is limited only from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. It must be from 8 a.m. to 23 p.m , during a day is not time to spend in sauna,

We enjoyed Kempinski a lot because the staff were helpful and friendly and it was across the street from a swim beach which although it was quite packed, Hotel Kempinski had its own lounge chairs, etc. Fast and efficient shuttle or taxi service to Piran.

We loved the style of the property and walkable around town. Nice breakfast and great staff

I had a really great experience. Great location - great hotel and I travel a lot!
