Jersey Shore Mountain Holidays

Although the location, staff, and cleanliness were very good, the property felt old and outdated. The Jr. Suite we upgraded to was essentially just a room with a desk. The furniture was worn, the TV remote only worked from a few inches away, and there was no refrigerator or microwave. The A/C was extremely noisy, and the windows did little to block street noise, which was especially frustrating with nearby construction. The coffee machine was hidden in a closet, storage space for clothing was limited, and one elevator sounded like it was close to breaking down. I would not recommend staying here; there are many better options in NYC.

The room wasn't very clean. I think the sheets were changed and vacuumed but it was very dusty, dirty, and the ice bucket still had the last person's leftovers. The TV only worked about 40% of the time - which when you need to spend time in the room and watch the World Cup, this was really disappointing. The phone didn't work either so we had to call the front desk using our cellphones. The rooms ran really hot, we had the thermostat set to 65 and it was still hot. I have no idea what that resort fee was for other than the WiFi maybe? The bar and restaurant downstairs was so ridiculously overpriced and doesn't open early enough. We always stay uptown and I was excited to try a new hotel but we'll pass on this one next time.

We spent several nights at this hotel. We loved the convenience of the subway and the mall (with a Whole Foods) across the street. There were also numerous restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel was incredibly convenient. However, because I have issues with diminished vision, I felt the lobby, elevator, and room were incredibly dark. I could barely see in the lobby and had difficulty reading the elevator numbers. The room lighting was also too dim for my liking, with no option to adjust its brightness. In addition, I did not see any accessible entrance to the hotel from the main street. There did not appear to be a ramp for wheelchair or walker access. Because of this, I question the accessibility availability for those with mobility issues. The hotel was good overall. The front desk was helpful when needed, and we were given enough advance notice when the boiler needed to be repaired. Because of my diminished vision, I would probably not stay there again, but for those without a disability, the hotel is not a bad choice.

We loved this hotel. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Excellent lighting for reading. Bathroom was great with unbelievable water pressure in both bath and shower. Wonderful cleaning staff. Great trip.

A clean professional hotel. The down side is that it is very expensive and whilst the staff are very professional, they could not be described as warm and friendly. But maybe that could be said for New York service generally. Thank you ~ Jon

It's was clean the gym had enough for a good workout. The breakfast was delicious
