Historic hotel was an excellent choice for a 3 night holiday. Loved the outdoor swimming pool which was very warmby the lake. Also very nice to test out the lake swimming pool next to it to get an idea of actual temperature. Breakfast was superb especially the made to order omelettes, fried eggs, real honeycomb and different assortment of breads including especially delicious cheese rolls. Waiters and waitresses were very attentive. A daily Rossl Post kept you informed of events in the coming 24 hours. We took the Schafberg cog railway up to the top of the mountains which was expensive but well worth it. Book ahead if you know it will be a sunny and clear day as it was incredible. Make sure you take good shoes with grip and go right to the top. The room of hotel was incredible and the view out on to the lake was breathtaking. Staff on reception were very attentive to your needs and when we turned up at hotel we were greeted with glass of prosecco. A nice touch! If the bank balance can take it, I shall definitely be heading back!

Great vacation spot for sporty activities but also wellness and zoning out. Overall a very good experience regarding accommodation and staff’s recommendations. Despite being a star graded Hotel and therefore classy audience, staff was impressively generous and human. Sometimes even got out of their way to provide a good experience. Breakfast was definitely the highlight and something we always looked forward to - rich in variety, healthy but good choices for sweet tooth’s, great choices for everyone really. Breakfast tables view of the lake is the surplus that matters. The barista experience could have been a bit better but really.. the cookies do make you forget that. Room was tidy and inviting. Although you’d want to spend time outside; chilling inside really was a pleasure. It’s been a bit hot with the sun shining onto the glass front and to be fair the bar was noisy at times but all is manageable. Hotel restaurants rarely are worth a recommendation but this one is for sure - what a blast of traditional Austrian dishes. Would book a table any time. Only downsides might really be the parking which on the other side is also super individual and depending on other hotel guests impressingly creative parking skills. Plus the sauna really could be hotter.

Great location, beautiful room with a view of the lake. Staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that our room was not in the main building and was quite a bit further away.and dark at night time.

Our room had a really nice view with the river and mountains. Super convenient to train station, shopping area and eating places. Staff were also nice.

This is a nice boutique hotel run by a family for three generations. It is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood yet is close to the cable car and the town center. Staff members were extremely helpful and friendly.
