Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Distance to beach is perfect. Restaurants around the hotel in Tamarindo town are great with many different options. This is the ideal hotel to stay at in Tamarindo location and comfort wise.

I spent 7 nights with my family, and honestly, I have no complaints about the hotel. The amenities and the peaceful atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation, with a great ocean view and excellent service. I would definitely come back without thinking twice. Thank you, Costa Rica, for being such a wonderful country filled with nature and beauty. The people are incredibly helpful, respectful, and friendly, which made our experience even more memorable.

Staff often gave incorrect information. I feel like this was done to get you out of their face or pass you on to someone else. We had a group of 6 and we wanted to eat at the Steakhouse, which requires a reservation. We were told that one person could book and to place the number of people in the comments. When we arrived the only person allowed to dine was the one that made the reservation. Another problem was getting clean towels in my room and at the pool. I reserved the steam room/ jacuzzi spa and was told I needed to bring my pool towel. There were no clean towels but the staff told me I could get a towel at the spa. I was not allowed to proceed with the reservation without my towel and was told I needed to go to front desk to get one. These places are not very far but not the closest and requires a bit of walking. This was an issue for me because I had injured myself using there water taxi. Which brings me to my next issue. I would not recommend taking the water taxi to go to the other side of the island, just go by car. It will take longer but I feel it is safer. The boat used for taxi was not anchored but held by men and when water is rough, you can fall and injure yourself. I thought I broke my toe but it was sprained. I had to get medical attention. There is a doctor at the resort and he was very good and helpful. Also the waitress in American Country was rude as hell and did not get orders correct and when told that the order was wrong she became angry. TBC…
