had a fantastic long weekend at the Echoes for our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were lovely; the place is amazing; we had a great time, and th restuarnt was excellent as well.

stayed as 3 families with 2 identical rooms booked plus a suite. The concept is fantastic for a family weekend. Having the pool, slide, ice skating, games room and cinema onsite meant we could genuinely spend time together, which was the highlight. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very rundown and does not feel like a luxury resort. The photos make it look much better than it is and I do not think it deserves the price tag.The biggest issue was the rooms. We paid exactly the same price for the same room type, yet my brother’s room was around HALF the size of ours! Frankly unacceptable for the same rate. We also weren’t placed together or on the same level, although I can’t remember if I specifically requested this. Reception repeatedly didn’t answer calls before or during our stay. Housekeeping left us with 3 towels instead of 4, which I only discovered after my shower, and I couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Breakfast was unnecessarily confusing. I was told kids weren’t free despite having a message saying they were, and had to show a screenshot. The next morning I was simply told under 11s eat free. Parking was advised as $15 a day but the link showed $20.so rude to pay for parking on top of the high cost! Several facilities need attention. The indoor pool was way too cold, the chess set was missing pieces, the maze is tiny and both cinema sessions had such a blurry picture they were difficult to watch. Good concept and for family time, but don’t expect luxury or value
