Definitely a good option. You won’t have a lot of eating options around the area but I think it’s a solid choice to stay in. Staff were super nice to me, the breakfast was amazing. I’ll definitely recommend the breakfast burrito. Clean rooms too. Definitely a 5 for me

Remarkable view and gorgeous room

I feel very fortunate to have booked this hotel—it was my first time staying here, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The location is excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room, overlooking the pool, was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. We stayed just one night on our way to Catalina Island, but I truly regretted not booking a longer stay at the Balboa Bay Resort. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a fun family trip, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Spent here a night :) with my family, was an utter dream, the food to our room, the view, the sunset, the shower, everything. Just utter heaven :) we order breakfast to our room and was beyond delicious, got it within a few minutes, even tea the night before. Everything beyond amazing quality.

Beautiful hotel, convenient location, friendly staff and delicious food!

Spectacular golf course, comfortable bed for a restful stay, and excellent poolside service. Unfortunately, some service fell short. At our first dining visit, we were told to seat ourselves and then ignored for nearly 10 minutes. The bartender was fantastic, but the poor start kept us from dining here again. Housekeeping was attentive, but rooms need updating; our sliding door wouldn’t close and visible wear was noticeable. Underwhelming for a 5-star stay.
