Beautiful! best hotel I stayed in during my whole London trip’

Lovely views and near to the beach. A great stay for a family

Beautiful rooms and views. The balconies were quite dusty and not very private. Nearby rooms were also smoking regularly. Swimming pool closed for most of the trip and we were promised an upgrade and welcome package to make up for it which we didn’t fully receive. Would definitely stay again if pool was open as the views and location make it worthwhile.

Amazing stay at Enchanted manor, from the moment we walked in the vibes were warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the red squirrels and badger feeding in the evenings was an amazing experience. Could not recommend this place more.

Our welcome was lovely. Very friendly. The room was small but very nicely presented. We booked dinner in the restaurant and all went downhill from there. My starter of scallops was extremely small, greasy and unappetising. Not worth the money. My main however was diabolical. Chicken was tough and I could not eat the vegetables. A congealed mess. When my husband complained, the manager was argumentative and totally unsympathetic. So unprofessional. He eventually did not charge for my main course but with very bad grace. To be fair my husband enjoyed his meal. After that debacle, which ruined our evening, the air conditioning in our bedroom packed in so we had a very uncomfortable night and slept badly. Would I stay there again or recommend it? No chance. Any feedback? Yes! The manager should follow the example of his staff who were charming and very apologetic.

No fan or ar conditioner in the room during this heat? Unbelievable! Worst night !

We booked a hotel rather than a just an apartment or room as we were expecting a serviced hotel as a treat and paid accordingly. There is no reception, no bar and no catering other than at the neighbouring property, just a 4 digit number supposedly to open the front door and room, it didn’t allow access to the room, which caused some anxiety. Fortunately someone answered the out of hours emergency number and was able to give us another pass code. The room was not serviced, nor were the tea/ coffee replaced. There are notices and instructions setting out some of the limitations at the premises but only after the booking is confirmed. We didn’t have any significant issues with the room or premises which would have been fine given the historic nature of the property. I don’t wish to arrange a long weekend away adding to life’s regular hassle. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

The whole experience of our stay was first class. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone. A special thank you to the hosts David and Pumpkin!
