My red flag is that they should have breakfast included with the price and not as an extra. But also there were fruit flies flying around the bread but whatever there are starving children that would be grateful otherwise. I’m a simple customer and I make the best out all my experiences. The neighborhood around is beautiful. It’s convenient that the location is midpoint between Amsterdam and Zandvoort beach. The shower was good and I slept like a newborn. Staff were sweethearts though. My only thing is that for a family of four with two kids, expect to pay 45 euro extra, that’s two buffets and two continental breakfasts. Also don’t use the toilet downstairs if you have to go number 2, it’s clogged. I would stay again if the price is right and breakfast is actually included and not extra.

The hotel smells bad so the staff constantly sprays this air freshener around that smells like bug spray..the towels r frayed and have holes in them..my single room was very small and so was the shower..there is a big hole by the front steps that is dangerous..8 steps to get into the hotel..the breakfast was OK.

Hotel was fairly clean, besides our room carpet which was absolutely filthy. I am assuming they were too busy after World Pride to attend to it. Room is small, even for two people, but we knew that going in. Lighting is almost useless, but if you are going strictly for ambience it is nice. Keiran is the star of this show and he is clearly skilled in hospitality! Breakfast was good and had many options. We are vegans and felt we had enough options, there was even avocado toast!

3.5 ⭐️I have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Beautiful architecture and nice staff but felt we paid way too much for so few amenities available. Stayed for 3 nights in May. Location was convenient to the train station. The building is gorgeous…a little bit of a strange layout, but it has such amazing design elements. Our room was cute and had a great view of the canal, but it wasn’t getting cool enough in the heatwave that was occurring. The staff offered to move us to a different room, and it was much cooler. The staff were all so pleasant, except for one person who berated my husband for trying to go to breakfast. He was unaware that I hadn’t purchased the breakfast option, and felt they made a un unnecessary scene about it. I had big issue with the amenities…or lack there of. WiFi was pretty much nonexistent. I figured I would just go use the “business center”, however I couldn’t find it and none of the staff I asked had any idea about one. There were no USB outlets in the room to charge devices. I did not buy an outlet adapter prior to the trip because the front desk was supposed to have them (as stated in their hotel info), but they were out. They did offer to charge my phone in a back office. Finally on the next to last day of our stay, I was able to get to a place to purchase my own outlet adapter. The other huge disappointment, was when we went to use the pool only to discover that it, along with the hot tub and steam room, were “out of order.”

Listen, this place right here...this is the place to be. I'm a big traveler and have stayed in dozens of hotels from The Ritz to La Quinta and this place topped them all - and this was my first time in Amsterdam. Absolutely unreal. Not only is it probably the best location in the city to see literally anything of interest, but the property itself is top notch. It has an incredible interior, it has an incredible bar (one of the best bars in Amsterdam, period). It has a beautiful courtyard and a restaurant with incredible food. And the rooms?? Yeah, imagine having the best shower ever and having perfectly temperature controlled with plenty of space in even the smallest rooms. But that's not even the best part - my Fiancé and I wanted to go out to eat so I insisted we converse with the concierge since the rest of the hotel was already 10/10, we must've gotten 5 recommendations for restaurants and tours from them and each one was off the charts. The first restaurant we went to greeted us and when we sat down...BOOM, glass of champagne at the restaurant COMPLIMENTS of the rosewood. Check in was easy, they took our bags, they called us Ubers and ever person there was friendly - I will seriously not stay anywhere else in Amsterdam when I return - there's no point - this place has everything you need. (Also shoutout to the concierge, Mara - sorry about the spelling - she totally rocks and they should pay her whatever she desires)
