The hotel staff often added extra money to our bar bill. The front desk charged unauthorized things to our credit card. I am having a difficult time getting those charges removed from our card. I will never stay there again. The food was incredibly expensive.

Great sized room ocean view was nice place was spotless can’t recommend enough

This is my second time visiting because of the superb experience from my first visit. However the service was subpar. 1) Very unenthusiastic greeting from receptionist. She merely gave me a key card and pointed to the elevator. We asked for a pool or ocean facing room, but received a construction facing city view. The hotel did not look busy at all to me. 2) Hallways on room floors were hot and muggy. 3) No towels or attendant present at upstairs jacuzzi The hotel was very clean. The grocery store across the street was convenient. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Although I value cleanliness in my lodging, service ranks pretty high for me as well. I’d much rather giving another location my business.

My only suggestion is to clean the garbage littered in the beach-lounging area. There’s also litter in the ocean (under Little Limon deck) that we picked up and a strong smell of sewage that hits the nostrils as soon as we exit our room or walk towards the Tiki bar. The ice cream place also needs to stay open later than 8. We stayed in room 218 and Friday going into Saturday evening, there was extremely loud music that went on from 10pm to about 1 am. It was awful and we couldn’t sleep and the staff was unreachable at that time. Please don’t have that music that loud and that late.

Room was nice with balcony but not what I expected. Thought I was booking the room that was in the picture. All the pictures of my room at time of reservation appeared like the photos shown on the site, but this was not in fact the room we received. Overall the property is pretty nice with bikes, kayaks and paddleboards available at no extra charge. There was a free shuttle to the sister resorts Amara Cay and Three Waters Resorts. We went to the Three Waters Resort and this resort was a bit nicer than La Siesta and the staff there was amazing. The staff a La Siesta, not so much often hard to find, even at the pool bar and beach/kayak area.

Amazing all around! Will definitely come back.
