This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. We accidentally left some belongings at the hotel. The staff was very gracious and quickly shipped them to us. This is a well-run, top quality resort offered at a very affordable price.

"Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön mit in einer schlucht. Toller Ausblick und zur Ausstattung ist nicht viel zu sagen, alles was man benötigt ist da. Mit den Eigentümer gab es überhaupt keine Probleme alles bestens."
