+ Great central location, pleasant decor in the room, nice White Company toiletteries.
- No soundproofing so not great for light sleepers or for working from the room; hotel didn’t seem particularly busy but no access to the room was given before 2pm

Nice enough hotel, convenient location from the M1. Close to a nice country park. Gym is pretty well equipped. Staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the guy in the gym.
My only gripes are that the room smelled of smoke - probably people smoking on the balcony with the door open. The decor is a bit tired. I was charged £3 for a like and soda which felt a bit steep for a pint of squash.
