Everything about the hotel was very good, with one exception. There is no ramp facilities for even the slightly disabled to get from drop off to reception. Can be difficult with large cases.

Staff are great, facilities wonderful and the whole experience is always great.

We had a great stay and were very happy with our room and the amenities. Guests should be made aware there is loud music playing until after midnight each night from the beach bars. Had to close the balcony door to sleep when we’d rather hear the ocean waves. Most guests would be fine with the lively atmosphere…

Lovely, friendly staff and a good variety of food. Drinks were okay, but the all-inclusive cocktails weren’t great. Rooms are very dated and the hotel could really do with a refurbishment, plus a gym would be expected for a 4-star. Great bus service to the beach and Mogan.

It was a lovely looking hotel with a lovely pool area but a little disorganised where the sunbeds were concerned. The rooms were lovely airy and reasonably clean with some cleaners being better than others as regularly found areas they missed but nothing major. We were most unhappy with the dining area as food that was supposed to be hot under the hot lamps were warm at best! So despite having paid for it we went out most evenings. Especially as it was based in the basement with no view. I’m afraid we won’t be returning

My stay at Hotel Faro was okay, but overall not worth the price. The hotel itself is nice, the location is great, and the staff was friendly. I also had a massage during my stay, and that was honestly one of the highlights—the therapist was amazing. However, for how expensive this hotel is, I expected a lot more. The weather during my stay wasn’t great, and there were little to no indoor alternatives or activities to make up for it. For a hotel at this price point, there should definitely be better options for guests when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Another major issue was how much they charge for everything. It felt like every little thing came with an extra fee. I was even charged for a Coke from the minibar that I didn’t drink. On top of that, there were items placed in the room that looked complimentary, but ended up being charged, with no clear pricing or notice. That was very frustrating and misleading. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. In my opinion, it was one of the worst I’ve seen—just a mix of random items that didn’t feel well put together or worth it. Overall, while the hotel is nice and the staff is kind, the experience didn’t match the price. Between the extra charges, lack of amenities during bad weather, and underwhelming food, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Lovely apartment with a good location. The apartment is spacious and clean and the shower has great water pressure. The staff were amazing and made my birthday special, I will definitely stay here again. My only issue is there fruit flies in the living area but the staff responded well and sprayed the place after I flaggec

We enjoyed our stay at this resort and liked having a 1 bedroom with kitchen bungalow near the pool. The pool was very clean & beautiful but the water is too cold for most people to swim. Even tho the weather was very hot & sunny as soon as they felt the water they would not go in. The staff is nice and friendly. I wish they would have told us about the free shuttle to the beach when we checked in instead of 2 days later. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and we enjoyed Happy Hour (2 for 1 drinks) and ate dinner 2 times at the pool bar that had a casual menu with many choices. There were no other dining options and many guests left the resort in the evening to go out to dinner. It would be nice if the beach shuttle had longer hours for guests to go to dinner at the nearby Caybeach Princess affiliate location that serves a nice buffet. We liked the location of this resort and would stay there again.
