Hawaii Island Mountain Holidays

There was a broken chair on the lanai, a broken handle on the master shower door, the kitchen wasn't quite as stocked as I would have liked but overall, we loved the location, loved the lodging, we had a wonderful stay and would choose that booking again. We're very thankful.

The property is beautiful! The pools are amazing! The lagoon so cool, we saw 3 turtles, a baby mana ray and fish. The ocean is surrounding you. My 9 year did the dolphin encounter that she loved. Just be prepared to walk a lot, Even though there is a tram, waiting 16 minutes want worth waiting. We enjoyed the luau. We didn't eat on site, took the shuttle everyday to Queens market and Island Gourmet Cafe. We are at Lava Lava near by that was delicious. The Hilton is beautiful but pricy on activities on parking. We ubered 3 days to Hapuna and Mauna Kea our Uber driver new how to get us in. He told gate he was just dropping us off then we walked to beach. We did rent car 1 day but didn't leave it over night. Hilton is amazing though best hotel with clothes.

Overall the rooms need updating however the room was really clean and did not have any issues during our stay. The bar and restaurant were overall pretty good! The staff I interacted with were all very accommodating. I would stay here again for sure! The private lagoon when open is awesome I had the most fun in there! Bring water shoes and stay away from walls and rocks and you will avoid the sea urchins.

Absolutely perfect stay! Gorgeous property, Aloha spirit amongst all the staff with personalized concierge experience, out of this world snorkeling and sea life on the beach of the property, free snorkeling rentals, and lots of perks like kids eat free and daily complimentary cocktails. Our party of 8 ranging from 4 to 72 loved every minute here.
