(360 reviews) Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to check in early which was appreciated. The pool was very nice. Appreciated the shuttle boat and used it several times. The food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast was good but it was a little confusing where to find things as the buffet was spread over several rooms. Perhaps as guests arrive for breakfast a staff member could explain the layout. No housekeeping provided- perhaps you need to request it. If so, explain this to guests. (302 reviews) Absolutely amazing time we have spent at St Regis Le Morne Resort. The resort is beautiful, quiet and very clean. Our room 493 was amazing suite with an ocean view and a terrace. The food is great we ate at the 4 of the 5 restaurants except the Indya and food was delicious and very high quality! The staff make us feel like we are home ,everyone was so kind and polite. Our favorites are Aroumel at the pool ,she was always great with us with her big smile everytime .Also we liked Veronne from the breakfast she always got us on our favorite table next to the pool ! Our driver Nadin also very nice and polite person and the taxi driver Rajoo who took us to the Port Louis and the La Vanille park and waited for us when we were there. I wanted to say big thank you to the whole St Regis La Morne team and we cant wait to be back next time with our kids! Thank you! (535 reviews) This is a beautiful place to stay, I enjoyed the resort so much, it was magical. In my opinion, the best location in the area. The staff are amazing, kind and attentive. My only reservation is that the bathrooms, particularly the showers and toilets could be a lot cleaner. I had to point out the state of the toilet discolouration and the mould in the shower. The response was amazing and every attempt was made to rectify the situation. I believe an upgrade to the tiling in the showers would be beneficial and a more frequent deep clean of the toilets, is a must. The sauna and steam room facilities were great, however, the jacuzzi was dirty and greasy. This should be cleaned more frequently, i.e. in between each session, as we were unable to use it knowing that we would be sitting in other peoples dead cells and grime! The food was truly amazing and the restaurant staff in the Tamarind restaurant, were particularly outstanding. Wine was very expensive but great quality and the sommelier was a true asset. The boat house facilities were great too, however, the staff should be more attentive and inform/direct people in a more committed way. I felt that we were not informed adequately enough about procedures in respect to when and which boat to board. Overall, this was a great place to stay and I would definitely return, however, I do think some upgrade to the bathrooms is required, plus cleaning procedures should be stepped up in these areas. (529 reviews) Absolute paradise of a location!! The views are spectacular and there is wildlife everywhere you look. The sea is crystal clear and amazing for snorkelling in the shallow reefs with so much wildlife and different ecosystems. The room was perfect for us , we stayed in a sunset junior suite with a beautiful balcony, sea views and a massive bath! The cleaning staff were great, we never had any issues with hygiene. The food was very decent and a lot of options for different eaters, the seafood is a standout. The only real negative is the lack of entertainment. We were there early February and it seemed to us on most weekdays there was no entertainment, and the ones we did have of a weekend was of a lower standard than were used to. Having stayed at Lux Belle Mare a year ago, we were surprised with the difference in entertainment. If you want quality live music of an evening choose Lux Belle Mare as there is more of an active evening scene, but if you’re looking for a very calming and slower paced holiday choose here! We would still give this hotel 5 stars, and we got engaged here in the treehouse which I would pick for any romantic celebration.
