This is a lovely Guest House .Sharon and Daryl are exceptionally friendly and provide lots of advice on the local and surrounding area.The breakfasts are marvellous.we really enjoyed our week.👍

The hotel itself was great, food was great. We had an issue where we had no working lights in our room of an evening and were given no solution. Duty manager has offered a refund but as of today, no one has contacted me despite me calling and emailing daily since checking out on 14/07/2025.

Quaint old property, but very reasonably restored and maintained. Although minimalistic in number, the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. a lasting good memory for me. JB, Guildford

Bovey Castle is an outstanding experience. Service is second to none.

The breakfast menu was tasty for both of us. The room was clean and beautiful decorated, the bed was comfy. Everything was excellent, the proprietors were very helpful and gave a warm welcome to everyone.

Great riverside location and an excellent restaurant. The room was modern well appointed and clean. However the soundproofing between the room I stayed in was poor - I wonder if my snoring disturbed my neighbours as much as their "nocturnal activies' did me!

Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked. Great welcome and amazing room very clean and comfortable. Thank you for having stay.
