We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!

Amenities were poor and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. The breakfast was overpriced. The bed was clean and comfortable.

We chose the wine barrel room and it was a great experience

The Chef went above and beyond coming to our table to explain how he created his dishes. The food was excellent. The front desk manager took time to come to our car and help us figure out how to pay the parking since it was all in Portuguese. Saved us!

Good location, soundproofing not the best, could do with renovation.

Breakfast was pretty average and rooms very nice and clean. Staff was very quiet - could have been a bit more welcoming but we had limited interaction so not a huge deal.

Complicated self check-in with several security codes. No one on site to assist. Local phone number not helpful for international travelers. Worst is the smell of the rooms... musty, basement rooms... left window open, blew fan AC all night which made it slightly better. Would NOT recommend.

We had a very nice stay here. We appreciated having a good restaurant on site, as nothing else was open in town. Note: this hotel is located in Sabuguiero, not Seia, so it’s a little more remote.
