I stayed at this Ramada because of its proximity to Fox Theater (10-minute walk or a very short BART ride). This property not only had one of the lowest daily rates, but it’s also a very short walking distance from the 12th Street/City Center BART station and the Oakland Tribune building. The lobby included free coffee and tea, and there’s free breakfast in the dining area across from the front desk. The room I stayed in was clean when I arrived and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Oakland.

I could not get into my room because the door was locked from the inside. I had to wait for somebody to come and open it for me.
This hotel is in a sketchy area and they do not close all of the gates at night. Yes, they do have cameras, but closing the gates. It would be a little bit more secure.
The guy at the front desk at check-in never got up out of his chair. He rolled it around everywhere, he needed to go.
