It was hard to sleep during the nights we stayed at the hotel as it no longer has air conditioning and the nights we stayed were hot. The room had a minimal ceiling fan that helped a little but not enough. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.

One of the better hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The shower head was a rainful, but actually with enough pressure to wash your hair which is a rarity. The bed was also incredibly comfortable as well as the pillows. The air conditioning was top notch as well. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend

The Clybaun Hotel is centrally located to enjoy the different neighborhoods of Galway. Great central spot for taking side trips. The room was large, beds were comfortable, and everything from the bathroom to the floors were very clean. Bring your swimsuit and workout clothes as they have a super nice pool and gym on the underground parking floor. They do support the local swim team, but you are well notified of the times they are there and it is easy to work around. They have a delicious breakfast that everyone will enjoy. This hotel also has a restaurant called the Courtyard that you should make a reservation before arriving - check photos to decide if you want in the enclosed courtyard or inside. The restaurant staff was thoughtful, knew the menu, and so good. We were able to make a reservation when we arrived at 6pm for 8:15pm, so it is worth asking. The staff throughout the hotel were professional and went that extra step to ensure our trip was going well. Easy check in and check out. HINT: 1) For Americans driving there - The Clybaun Hotel sign is as visible as the Courtyard sign. My husband and I thought there were two hotels next to each other meaning two parking areas. Nope, that is the Courtyard Restaurant. 2) You can self-park in the open-air parking lot around if the hotel and they have a below ground parking lot for free. For a new driver on the other side of the road, it can be tricky, but nice to have. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Fantastic breakfast and restaurant. Not all staff understood requests made or could give information about the area.

There are no words for how spectacular the Castle is. There are even fewer words to describe the professional, curious and attentiveness of the staff. From the minute we set foot on the grounds, we didn't want to leave - ever! Thank you to all at Ashford Castle. We will be back!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Mulranny Park Hotel. Check in went very smoothly, very pleasant girl at reception. Room was very comfortable and roomy, and the view was of Clew Bay was beautiful. We had dinner in the bar food and service was excellent. The only minus was the

The staff were very helpful, the property and the room were beautiful. I'd highly recommend Breaffy House.
