Location great. Very quiet. Could use a deep clean but generally clean

This was an adorable boutique hotel within 5 mins drive to the cruise port and within walking distance to the heart of Rotterdam. Our particular room was the “romantic suite” and was enormous with a bathroom area as big as the room itself! Tastefully decorated and welcoming! The lobby sitting area was cozy and had coffee, etc as well as a small bar and light snacks. They serve breakfast in their quaint kitchen and it was delicious as well as very convenient before we embarked on our cruise. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great location , next to supermarket and easy access to tube and tram stops. Restaurant and bar were lovely. We booked family room as needed 2 separate beds and that was only option. Room felt dated and in need of TLC. We did report an issue with our room (toilet seat hanging off) which we hoped would be sorted, but that wasn’t dealt with whilst we were there. Beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely stay, just wished they’d sorted the toilet seat for us.

First, I would definitely stay here, again. The location is excellent for boarding a cruise. I enjoyed the modern decor, bright colors, and the astrological signs above beds and on the welcoming carpet in the entrance of the hotel. The staff were positive in nature and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best of any hotel so far. Now, for the cautions. I have never had so many weird things occur in a hotel in my lifetime and I am well into my 70s… First, I was locked out of my room. It took about 20 minutes for staff and the maintenance person to dislodge the door. Second, the television would not turn on. Rather than replace the battery in the remote, the helpful staff person dislodged the TV mounted on the wall to turn it on. He did replace the battery when he found it would not turn the TV off. The next day the key card to my room would not work. And last no coffee, creamer, and sugar replaced in the room although towels were. That was easy to remedy. Again, staff were excellent in trying to remedy each situation. I did wonder how other guests were fairing or was this just my karma in this specific time and place.

We have been travelling in europe for over a month now. We booked the King Superior Room with Harbor View for 4 nights and the view was amazing but the hotel experience was pretty underwhelming compared with many of the other properties we stayed at even at the higher cost. The room is large and has a table to sit around and enjoy the view but the table only had 1 chair. We had to use the luggage rack for a chair. We asked for another chair 3 times and finally had one brought to the room our 2nd evening we were there. There were no wine glasses in the room to enjoy a glass of wine at the table once we had a 2nd chair. The bartender was nice enough to lend us a couple of glasses but then housekeeping took them away the next day. We just gave up and drank wine from the water glasses after that. Most of the places we stayed had usb charging ports but nothing here. I assume most people that book these rooms book as a couple so wouldn't 2 chairs and a couple of wine glasses make sense? The hotel location is great but there was not one thing (outside of the harbor view) you could call a special touch that makes it worth the extra cost or that would make you want to come back.

Our room was spacious and so comfortable. We had a nice corner room. We had spent several days before in a very small, historic hotel in another town. We tripped over our luggage or furniture constantly. This room had so much space. The kettle and tea were a nice touch.
