The hotel was lovely, rooms appear to be being renovated but even those not quite done yet were clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Room was beautiful and clean comfy beds and well ventilated. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great good choice of food although the full English did seem a little small . Lovely food in both restaurants with amazing views of the bay. Spa looked amazing didn’t use it as weather was so hot we went to the beach instead this time.

Friendly, ggod food and great staff - a bit tired

The Belfry trades heavily on its famous name, but the experience doesn’t justify the premium price. My room was clean but very dated, with no air conditioning and only a noisy fan that made sleeping difficult even before the real issue started. The biggest disappointment was the late-night noise. Guests drinking on the terraces created a constant level of shouting and disturbance that was completely at odds with what you’d expect from a luxury golf resort. I booked expecting a peaceful night overlooking one of Britain’s most famous golf courses. Instead, it felt like staying above a busy pub on a Saturday night. Food was average, drinks expensive, and the service lacked the warmth you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. There is undoubtedly a great hotel hidden somewhere inside The Belfry, but it currently feels as though its reputation is doing far more work than its hospitality. For £250 a night, there are much better places to stay Avoid Room 2220

Amazing stay at Enchanted manor, from the moment we walked in the vibes were warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the red squirrels and badger feeding in the evenings was an amazing experience. Could not recommend this place more.

A truly comfortable and pampered stay. David and Tonny do not have to do any effort to make your stay feel unique as they have in themselves the art of hosting. Great attention to detail; nothing goes unnoticed, from the small shampoo bottles left open in the shower, and then carefully closed to the meticulously prepared deliciously cooked breakfast. Not a single thing out of place; not a single desire not catered for. David seems the one who does the cooking while Tonny the one serves the food, and prosecco! All works out in clockwork precision. Recommended

The hotel had some character. We booked car parking for £12 a night at the rear of the hotel, we did not expect to park on waste ground with a 75 yard walk to the back door. The room was small but OK. We booked a table for 7pm. in the restaurant when we arrived the room was empty and no sign of staff, we enquired in the bar to be told that meals were being served in the bar. We ordered drinks to have with the meal and were asked to pay for them, we said would they book it to our room, this seemed to cause a problem. The menu was very limited, it was nearly an hour before our meals arrived the food was good and the Waffles are well worth investigating. We paid for our meals because it appeared that they did not have system set up to add it to our room. We could not have a printed receipt but could have a text or e-mail. We were grateful we had only booked one night. We will not be rebooking, nor would we recommend it to anybody.

Perfect in every way, even down to the smell of the hotel. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again
