Everything about this Hotel was perfect. The only issue were the Drinks, wings, and Dj on the rooftop terrace area. The three of them were awful. The view was spot on and atmosphere was good though.

The homeless situation in every direction of the hotel is rampant. I was accosted every time I left the hotel. The neighborhood smelled like urine and people literally defecate on the sidewalks. The crazy thing is there’s nice restaurants everywhere in Atlanta, but I did not feel safe, walking the streets. I’m from Baltimore and I know there’s a homeless situation here but at times it felt like the TV show, The Walking Dead .Atlanta is a very cool and culturally mixed city and I will definitely return, but not in this area.

Love this property, always excellent! They upgraded the showers to glass/tile recently. It's always so cozy and safe, excellent beds and cotton sheets (not poly blend! Yay!). The staff is excellent, impeccable service. When I'm in ATL I don't know why I stay anywhere else. Love the Whitley.

Overall, I had a great experience. It’s located in Midtown and near a few good restaurants.
My only concern was that it wasn’t disclosed that there is a $150.00 per night incidental charge. That detail was nowhere on the Expedia booking listing or the policy details. It would be great to be aware of such a high fee ahead of arriving.
