We were staying in La Suite which was part of the spa building. This turned out to be an interesting couple of rooms which bizarrely included a football table in sitting room. The loo was separate from the bathroom where the bath was a corner bath with a shower beside. It was a little dark as the colour scheme was turquoise and grey elephant wallpaper! But the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The hotel buildings and gardens are beautiful and traditional Normandy half timber style, typical of the area. Dinner nearly didn't go so well as we seemed to be invisible to the staff when we sat on the terrace. However, once we moved inside and explained our reason the service improved and the meal was good. Overall it was good stay and we enjoyed the swimming pool and sunbed area too.

The exterior of the hotel, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. Truly beautiful and unforgettable. There are no elevators. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable, with an excellent bathroom - though the bedroom carpet was very worn - a minor issue, I know. Breakfasts were disappointing for the supplementary price they charge. I have had better breakfasts in cheaper chain hotels. They should either improve the quality or reduce the price. Dinner in the Capucine restaurant was truly excellent, apart from a rather disappointing dessert (we had the lowest price set menu -about 68 Euros). Service was good, and sitting outside on a summer evening was delightful. The swimming pool area is superb - a lovely pool, with plenty of sun loungers. The spa was a bit disappointing - the jacuzzi felt as if a lot of sand or grit was in the bottom of it. We did not have any paid spa sessions, so cannot comment. All in all, a lovely hotel which we enjoyed, but a few disappointments.

Stayed in an apartment for two nights. Air con didn’t work, toilet seat was broken, the plug in the bath was broken and would take 5-10 mins of running the tap before getting any hot water. The entire apartment in need or renovation, stains on the walls, skirting boards and sofa. The bin in the kitchen absolutely stank. The upside was the parking, location and pool. Had nice views of the town from the balcony but there was a wasp nest above the door. Would not return to this place.

The Chamber we stayed in was amazing in size and comfort. The staff was very attentive to our every need. Location to Omaha Beach and other historic site was perfect. We ended up the day walking Bayeux.

Gently fading grandeur. We had a lovely time and the pool/spa are very nice. Staff were friendly. Bar prices seem to reflect what this hotel used to be like, rather than its current state of maintenance as a few things weren't working eg room phones, spa shower. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely.
