Worst stay ever Patio door wouldn’t lock Staff left their keys in our lock all day which meant anyone could access our room. Room smelled of sewage. Horrible experience We actually left in the middle of the night. Zero correspondence with the staff.

Staff were friendly, room was perfect and has ac which was needed during the hot humid summer. The hotel is located near restaurants and cafes.

From the rooms to the dinning to the amazingly helpful staff, this place has it all.

The staff at Villa Maia are exceptional. Always kind and smiling, helpful and attentive. They made a wonderful stay truly exceptional. The room was delightful. We were on the second floor with has a partial view of the city due to the large trees outside the window. A third floor stay would have unobstructed views. The pool and spa are excellent.

The property was very nice. My only issue was that the air conditioning failed to cool the room during a heat wave. The staff said they would get the Technician to make the necessary repairs but it wasn’t fixed. The staff gave us a fan which helped but that wasn’t enough. Upon checkout they applied a slight discount to our room bill. With the exception of the air conditioning failure the stay was fantastic.

The staff were excellent. For a top dollar hotel it lacked that bit of luxury. Was a little disappointed to be allocated a room on the first floor as it didn't have the view the higher floors had.

Really beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and amazing air conditioning during a heat wave. The indoor pool was such a bonus.

Staff were great at check in and breakfast, room was spotless and everything felt very new. Room was really well equipped, wish I was staying longer😅
