I took the train from the airport to Union Station and walked to the hotel in under 15 minutes, with me walking slowly due to taking in the sights along the way. The hotel staff were very friendly. I had a Historic Superior Suite, on the older side of the building. The room wasn't anything special. View of the street. The bathroom was very small. All that aside, the room was clean the bed was comfy and I felt very safe. And, I was in Canada!!! I was happy. I did order room service for dinner one night. Fried chicken sandwich with fries. It was satisfactory. The location was ideal. Although public transportation was available everywhere, I walked everywhere I went and enjoyed every step. The was so much to see within walking distance of the hotel. St. Lawrence Market was so nice, I walked there twice in my 3 day trip. But, the hotel was fine as i only needed it for rest, I was out and about most of the time. When it rained, I just went to the basement entrance and walked the PATH. Took it to CF Toronto Eaton Centre, which was a nice mall.

A beautiful hotel in a great downtown area and close to great restaurants and attractions

I was concerned when I arrived because I was in the heart of downtown during the World Cup, and this clearly was a bustling location. The clientele all appeared well-heeled and ready for a good time. I personally prefer a low key quiet stay, and I expressed that desire to the staff. They reserved me a beautiful room on a higher floor. I told them that I am partial to quite few pillows and found a veritable pillow fort waiting for me! I had asked for a steamer to prepare a dress for an event I was attending and one was brought to me almost immediately. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel itself if beautiful. Truly the only constructive feedback I could give was that there was no jam with my croissant, and no English Breakfast tea in my room. Both entirely non-issues. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Tout est parfait, propre, super tranquille et le service impeccable. Cependant la climatisation est la plus bruyante au Canada. Vous devez absolument avoir des bouchons (ear plugs).

Outstanding service and property

Amazing service from the moment we parked. The Valet service was great and Norbert at the Desk provided exceptional service. We celebrated our anniversary and the staff made us feel special with some simple gestures (like a late checkout). This gave us the opportunity to experience an amazing brunch the next day at Kost - the rooftop restaurant. The only suggestion that I have is to plan your exit/entry from the hotel during non-busy times for the restaurants - the demand for the brunch was high and the line-ups for the elevators can get lengthy. I will definitely return.

Really enjoyed my stay at this townhouse. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, which made it easy to relax. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a smooth stay. The backyard was a great bonus. This was a great balance of comfort, convenience, and privacy. I’d definitely stay here again!

This is not our first stay at this property. The bed was so comfortable! Time to start upgrading the rooms. Doors showed signs of water damage and time to move forward with getting rid of carpet.go laminate.
