Unique property (was a Howard Johnson's) but despite overdone "artsy" modern overhaul, still musty and strange room configuration (bathroom is a glass-walled box in the room). Very dark and odd room lighting. Food was pricey for its quality and lacked sophistication. Some food was frankly unappealing. Bar was dead on a Saturday night in summer. Most patrons seemed to be visiting for nearby/on site family events. Free continental breakfast was bare minimum, unsuitable for those with carb restrictions. Spa was good overall. Interesting weekend experience but would not return.

The dining room staff was completely occupied by a convention. Those who wanted breakfast had only the option of frozen egg sandwiches from a café in the hotel.
The atrium is beautiful and a wonderful place for an evening cocktail or glass of wine with friends.
Parking is awkward and valet services are not readily available. Self parking is expensive but par for the course on the East Coast.
