Truly an exceptional hotel. I grew up in the area and it has continued its history of providing an experience that excels (locals just call it “The Slieve”). The amenities are fantastic with the spa facilities, snooker room, drawing room for a peaceful morning. Breakfast in the main dining area with views of the Mounre Mountains is an experience itself. We hosted a family dinner in JJ Farrell’s food and service exceptional

Location great just off main spaces but not too busy. Room very well thought out - good really well-equipped kitchen area. Staff friendly and helpful. What more to say? Oh yes, no mugs/glasses in bathroom (had to use one from the kitchen!)

Convenient location, good price. It can be a noisy area but I stayed on a quiet Monday night and they gave me a back room (as requested - just in case!) so it was fine
