We have been visting this hotel for many years as it’s an oasis of tranquillity just outside Lisbon’s centre. We sense though that it’s not run v well as a brand. We have been about 16 times but each time we are asked if it’s our first visit!! Breakfasts are excellent and food generally is good but the restaurant in the evening is usually empty with zero atmosphere and v pricey when compared to many restaurants in the City. Facilities are good especially the gardens and pool. We escaped serious injury when the glass ceiling in a lift collapsed just as we were about to enter it. Probably just bad luck but disconcerting.
We shall return but it could be so much better
